Day Hike to the summit

An unforgettable sunrise at Acatenango summit. If you're up for it for an additional $30 you can!

Fuego 4x4 Overnight Tour

Start your adventure with a comfortable ride in one of our robust, fully-equipped 4x4 vehicles. Our journey begins as we traverse diverse landscapes, making a panoramic stop at a spectacular viewpoint located at 2,500 meters. Here, you'll have the opportunity to capture stunning photos of the surrounding views.

As we continue our ascent to 3,500 meters, you'll immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Guatemalan highlands. Before reaching our base camp, a short 45-minute hike (2 km) awaits you, taking you through breathtaking terrain to our well-equipped camp.

Once at base camp, you can relax and marvel at the dramatic eruptions of the Volcán de Fuego.

Hike to Base camp

We head to Fuego to watch the sun set from the most incredible summit, and as night falls, you’ll see the glowing lava and eruptions from a distance of 400m of the crater

I think we made the best choice in visiting Volcán de Fuego and Acatenango. Despite the dietary restrictions of two people in our group, Billy was attentive and willing to ensure it was a great experience for us.   • If you cancel between 72 and 24 hours before the tour, you will receive a 50% refund.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, there will be no refund.

Why these policies?

  • We operate on a schedule and need to know exactly how many participants we will have to ensure we have the appropriate number of guides each day.

  • We prepare the food (your lunch) and purchase the rest (dinner and breakfast) the evening before the tour.

  • We prepay for the spots on the buses that take you to the volcano.

  • There is a waiting list of people looking for available spots.

In case you can' t complete your ascend due to health complications or lack of physical preparation:

  • No refunds will be provided as we have already paid for your transportation, guides, and meals. You would have to pay for your transportation and/or book a room to spend the night and be transported back to Antigua next morning with the group.
